On August 7, PlayStation VR2 (PS VR2) players will soon be able to access games on their PC using a new adapter. This was announced today on the PlayStation blog https://blog.playstation.com/. This move marks a pivotal step in the convergence of console and PC gaming, providing greater flexibility and expanding the potential user base for Sony’s latest virtual reality headset. Gamers will be able to purchase and enjoy thousands of VR games via Steam, including well-known titles like War Thunder, Half-Life: Alyx, and Fallout 4 VR.

System Requirements

Setup is easy, simply connect PlayStation VR2 to your PC using the PS VR2 PC adapter and the DisplayPort 1.4 cable. Next, download the SteamVR app and the PlayStation VR2 app from Steam. With your PC, you can use this to set up your PS VR2, personalise your play area and settings, and begin buying and playing games in SteamVR.
