Recently, the gaming world has been alive with leaks about the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2. Images and renders of the next-gen console have surfaced online, reportedly from a Chinese factory, igniting speculation about its design and features. The games website VGC says that images originated from a Chinese social media site and have ended up on Reddit. These leaks suggest significant upgrades compared to the original Switch, including a larger screen, updated Joy-Con attachment mechanisms, and enhanced internal storage.
One of the most discussed features is the new Joy-Con design. Leaked renders suggest a shift from the current sliding rail system to what many believe to be a magnetic attachment, making it easier to connect the controllers. This has been speculated by several tech sources, though the precise nature of this connection remains debated. Some reports even hint that the Joy-Cons may no longer feature the flashing player indicator and could include new connectors on the underside.

The leaked images also show the Switch 2 as a much larger console compared to its predecessor, which supports the rumour that it will feature an 8-inch LCD screen.
