Intel Claims Ultra Core Provides 50% Better Gaming Performance at IFA 2024

IFA Berlin 2024, one of the world’s leading trade fair for consumer electronics and home appliances, will once again captivate audiences in Berlin. This year’s event, held from the 6th to 10th of September, will showcase groundbreaking innovations, cutting-edge technologies, and the latest trends in the consumer electronics industry.

At this years IFA event, Intel has unveiled its next-generation Core Ultra processor, codenamed Lunar Lake, with enhanced architectural innovations. It features improved performance cores, including Lion Cove, offering significant efficiency and scalability gains.

Lunar Lake introduces the new xc2 graphics architecture, and Intel has claimed this comes with substantial energy efficiency improvements and 50% better performance in games like Cyberpunk and Spider-Man. Intel has claimed that it outperforms competitors by 16% over AMD and 68% over Qualcomm in gaming benchmarks.

Intel has declared that Lunar Lake demonstrates superior power efficiency, delivering 35% more energy efficiency than AMD and over double Qualcomm’s efficiency. It runs 30% faster while using less power.

Intel also introduced AI Playground, an open-source platform for AI exploration on Core Ultra and Arc graphics systems, offering features like text-to-image generation. Pre-orders for Lunar Lake begin today, with retail availability starting September 24, 2024.
