Gamescom 2024 has announced a remarkable surge in participation, setting a new record for the number of exhibitors. Gamescom Opening Night
Gamescom week normally begins with the grand opening show, Gamescom Opening Night Live, presented by Geoff Keighley on the evening of August 20th. This year’s co-host is renowned e-sports presenter Eefje “Sjokz” Depoortere. The program is one of the most popular in the gaming business, with over 20 million views in just the first few days last year.
Several businesses have already indicated that they will be sharing information about their games this year. These titles include: 2K (Sid Meier’s Civilization® VII), Activision (Call of Duty: Black Ops 6), Capcom (Monster Hunter Wilds), DON’T NOD (Lost Records: Bloom & Rage), Funcom (Dune: Awakening), NetEase (Marvel Rivals), and PLAION (Kingdom Come: Deliverance II). Several further companies and titles will be disclosed before Gamescom Opening Night Live. As always, there will be lots of surprises during the show.
