According to an X leak form Rockstar Games insider tez2, Grand Theft Auto V may soon become available through PC Game Pass. The prospect of Grand Theft Auto V joining the Xbox PC Game Pass library has sparked considerable excitement among the gaming community. Given the game’s enduring popularity and the expanding reach of subscription services like Game Pass, this potential inclusion represents a significant development for both fans and the gaming industry at large. Grand Theft Auto V has sold over 200 million copies, making it the second best-selling premium game in history.

Released in 2013, GTA V has solidified its status as one of the most influential and commercially successful games of all time. With its sprawling open-world design, rich narrative, and dynamic online component, GTA V has continually drawn players back, maintaining a strong presence even a decade after its initial launch. The game’s availability on PC further enhanced its appeal, offering modding opportunities and improved graphics, which have kept the PC community particularly engaged.

Grand Theft Auto V was made available on PCs, nearly two years after it was first launched on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It has also been available on websites like Steam and Epic Games Store for more than nine years. For Rockstar Games, the inclusion of GTA V on Xbox PC Game Pass would open the game to a broader audience, potentially bringing in new players who may not have purchased the game outright.

This move could also revitalise interest among lapsed players, encouraging them to dive back into both the single-player campaign and the continuously evolving GTA Online. The exposure on Game Pass could lead to increased revenue through in-game purchases and other microtransactions.
