The ASUS ROG Ally X, is an upgraded version of its popular Windows handheld gaming console. This new iteration brings significant enhancements in performance and user experience, setting a new standard in portable gaming. The ROG Ally X features a redesigned, more comfortable build with rounded corners, improved grips, and better button placement, making it easier to hold and use for extended periods compared to the original ROG Ally

The ROG Ally X packs a punch with its AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme APU, delivering up to 8.6 teraflops of graphical power. This advanced processor ensures smooth and responsive gameplay, even for demanding AAA titles. The inclusion of RDNA 3 graphics architecture further enhances the visual experience, making games look more lifelike and immersive.

ASUS has also improved the console’s display. The ROG Ally X features a 7-inch Full HD 120Hz screen with FreeSync Premium support. This model refresh includes an 80W battery (up from 40W), new 8-way D-pad, improved analog sticks, and faster LPDDR5X RAM (24GB at 7500 MHz), providing better performance and battery life.

Extended battery life

Quicker RAM and Increased Storage.

Constructed with user feedback at its core, the ROG Ally X amplifies a number of its essential internal parts. Users now have more space for all of their games thanks to a new 1 TB SSD, up from 512 GB on the original Ally. The ROG Ally X also boasts a revamped motherboard with an M.2 2280 form factor slot, making it easier for customers to upgrade to larger drives . 

ASUS has integrated a new cooling system that maintains optimal temperatures even during intense gaming sessions. The dual-fan design, combined with high-efficiency heat pipes, ensures that the console remains cool and performs consistently.
